The Mayflower Terminal opened in 1960.

The terminal has wheelchair access.

There is a range of comfortable seating in the main lounge where free magazines and other general information are available.

A fully licensed bar /cafe serves hot and cold food. Public toilets are available.

There is a short term car park adjacent to the terminal for drop-offs.

A taxi rank is located outside the Arrivals Hall as well as coach bays.

The viewing gallery is normally open about one hour prior to the ship's departure.

Proof of identity such as passport or picture driving licence is required to obtain a security pass.

Nearest hotels to the Mayflower Terminal are Etap, Ibis and Novotel.

City Cruise Terminal

The City Cruise Terminal has benefitted from a major renovation to increase its size in order to accommodate the larger number of passengers that modern ships now hold.

The terminal has wheelchair access.

The departure lounge has a fully licensed bar/cafe selling a variety of hot and cold snacks.

Public toilets are readily available.

There is a short stay car park opposite the terminal for drop-offs.

Also, there is a taxi rank outside the Arrivals Hall.

Although this terminal does not have a viewing gallery, the terminal is located next to Mayflower Park from which there is an excellent view of departing ships.

Nearest hotels to the City Terminal are Holiday Inn, Premier Inn and De Vere.

Ocean Cruise Terminal

The original Ocean Cruise Terminal was an iconic Art Deco building which was scandalously removed in 1983. Its modern replacement opened in 2009, becoming Southampton's fourth cruise terminal.

There is comfortable seating in the main passenger lounge which is also accessible to friends and family bidding passengers bon voyage. There is a short stay car park adjacent to the terminal building.

A fully licensed bar/cafe is situated in the lounge selling a variety of snacks and drinks.

Public Toilets are available.

Queen Elizabeth 2 Cruise Terminal

The QE2 terminal was opened in 1966 by Her Majesty the Queen.

The terminal has wheelchair access.

The departure lounge has a fully licensed bar/cafe selling a variety of hot and cold snacks.

There is a dedicated passenger undercover drop-off area located inside the terminal as well as a short stay car park opposite.

Also, there is a taxi rank within the terminal itself.

There is no viewing gallery at this terminal.
